My name is Darien Thompson, or most people know me as Dee! I’ve been tattooing professionally for the past six years. I began my career on Long Island, where I completed my apprenticeship before moving to New York City to further develop my craft. I spent four years tattooing throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan, gaining experience in fast paced, high volume studios while refining my style and working with a diverse clientele. Two years ago, I relocated to South Carolina, where I’ve been tattooing in the Myrtle Beach area while also traveling to Wilmington, North Carolina for guest spots, flash events, and special projects. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to tattoo at conventions across the East Coast and in the Virgin Islands, as well as guest artist at numerous shops. Those experiences have allowed me to meet and learn from many talented artists while continuing to grow both personally and professionally.
