Our sales representatives are eager to guide you to the best artist for you!
There are a few ways to schedule an appointment with us.
The first step is to look through our artists portfolios (select “artists” at the top of the page) to see if there is a particular artist that stands out to you. From there, you have several options.
Your first option is an online consultation. To do this, select “request booking” from the artist’s portfolio page. Fill out the required prompts, use the “description” field to give us details for tattoo your idea, and attach any reference photos that will help the artist understand your vision for your tattoo. From there, we will converse with you via email to request additional information (if needed), provide a price quote and then a deposit request to lock in your time. *if you need help choosing an artist, select the “help me choose an artist” tab and follow the same steps above.
Your next option is to call us at the studio to schedule a free consultation with the artist. This gives you the opportunity to meet with the artist to discuss your tattoo, ask questions, get pricing, etc. From there, our sales representatives will be glad to assist your with scheduling your appointment.
We accept walk-ins on a first come first serve basis, although making an appointment is always recommended (especially if you are visiting, this way you are guaranteed to get tattooed while in Myrtle Beach). If you decide to try to come in as a walk in and we do not have availability when you arrive, we will be glad to check our schedule to see if there is another date and time that will work for you.
You must bring your valid government issued photo ID with you. We have to photo copy it to your paperwork when you sign in for your tattoo appointment. If you are a member of the military, we ask that you bring both your military ID so we can apply your 10% discount and your civilian ID with you as we cannot legally photo copy a military ID.
We suggest eating a light meal before your appointment; feel free to bring snacks and/or drink with you.
You should always check with your artist before using a numbing cream, as
it affects the tattoo application and the healing process.
We suggest staying out of a public gym for at least 3 days. Keep in mind that gyms may contain bacteria that is harmful and may cause infections. Remember, you need to protect your investment.
We suggest waiting two weeks before submerging your tattoo in any body of water or sunbathing/tanning after getting your tattoo to allow proper healing (showering is ok as it is not submerging) Most bodies of water have high levels of bacteria and/or chemicals, which can lead to infection. This includes swimming pools, bathtubs, and the ocean.
There are many variables to consider when deciding where to place your tattoo. These variables include but are not limited to skin composition, medical conditions, tattoo size and style, etc. Your artist will evaluate the area you are looking to place your tattoo and let you know if they have a different suggestion for the placement.
South Carolina state law states we cannot tattoo anywhere on the head, face, or neck.
At Elite Ink Tattoos we do not tattoo the sides of fingers, sides of hands, or sides of feet or anywhere on/below the ankle bone or anywhere else that may result in poor healing. We take pride in our work and your satisfaction, therefore we guarantee your tattoo. Based on our 20 + years of experience, these areas will not hold up therefore we cannot guarantee them.
South Carolina state law requires you to be a minimum of 18 years old with a valid government issued photo ID, no exceptions.
South Carolina law does not allow parental consent, you must be 18 years old or older with a valid government issued ID, no exceptions.
There are several medical conditions and medications that may affect the process of tattooing and/or the aftercare of your tattoo. If you are concerned about a pre-existing medical condition or prescribed medications, we suggest that you contact your physician to discuss any concerns before you inquire about receiving a tattoo. Click this link: physician acknowledgement form to download our physician acknowledgement form; have your licensed physician to fill it out and present it to the Elite sales representative when you come in to schedule your appointment.
If you are submitting an online booking request, you can attach a picture of the physician acknowledgement form to the section labeled “reference images” and present the original to the Elite sales representative at check in on the day of your appointment.
